Bangalore: In an effort to make up the academic days lost due to covid-19 pandemic The Primary and Secondary Education Department is considering the possibility of cutting summer holidays.

The government’s decision has been supported by Teachers Associations.
The education department is planning to implement the plan across the state as state technical committee for COVID -19 had advised the same.

The issue will be discussed with chief minister at a meeting scheduled to convene at the end of December, reported DH citing official source.
