New Delhi : The founder of the Yoga Darshana Charitable Trust, Shri Harshanandji Maharaj said that the ‘NAGA’ Company is standing firm against farmers. NAGA is an abbreviation for ‘Narendra, Amit, Gautam, and Adani’, he explained.
Harshanandji Maharaj, who is participating in the farmer protests happening in New Delhi, in his response to the representative from the Mass Media Foundation, said that the corporate powers were taking an inherently anti-farmer stance.
“Farmers are India’s soul. Today, that very farmer is fighting to secure a minimum support price for his harvest. Every seller of goods in the world determines his selling price. But, the price of a farmer’s harvest is being set by the buyer”, said Harshanandji Maharaj, expressing his sadness.
“Changing this image is crucial at this time. But, it is a private company that is facing off with farmers. I would like to call it ‘NAGA’, which is an abbreviation for Narendra, Amit, Gautam, and Adani. If a government did exist, they would sit with the farmers and hold dialogue. Today we see innumerable farmers gathered under the vast skies. Innocents have lost their lives in this cold. Yet, none of this seems to affect the folks from the private company. They do not even possess such sensitivities”, he said.
“We have seen the East India Company. We have seen how they used to draw blood. The same situation exists even today. To change this situation, nature itself is helping us run this movement. Let this movement become a lesson for the whole of humanity. I firmly believe that these demonstrations will teach about how victories can be fashioned out of a service-oriented movement”, said Harshanandji Maharaj.
