Uttar Pradesh: A day after an FIR was lodged about a gang-rape incident in Kanpur, the father of the victim allegedly died in a road accident.

After an FIR about the gang-rape of the 13-year-old girl was registered, she was taken to the hospital for medical examination, it is learned. However, the death of the victim’s father before the very hospital premises to an alleged accident has given rise to suspicion.
Reportedly, the main accused, Golu Yadav’s father, is working as a Sub – Inspector in Kanauja, a few hundred kilometres from Kanpur. According to sources, he had been a threat to the victim’s family ever since the day of the rape incident. The Family members of the victim have now accused that the father of the victim was murdered.

The alleged accident that killed the victim’s father is said to have occurred when the victim’s father had gone out to drink tea, while his daughter was undergoing medical examination.
