Bengaluru: The Minister of Higher Education, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. CN Ashwaththanarayana announced that the offline classes for the students pursuing Bachelor, Postgraduate, Engineering and Diploma degrees will resume from 15th January, Friday.
After concluding a meeting with high-level officials in Bangalore on Monday, the Deputy Chief Minister spoke to the reporters and said that the offline classes for the final year students had already begun and thus far been successfully undertaken.
“Since the remainder of the first, second, and third-year students were also urging to resume direct classes, we will be beginning classes from this month”, he said.
Deputy Chief Minister also informed that the offline classes for the first, second, and third-year engineering students would also begin on the same date.
Higher Education Department Additional Chief Secretary Kumar Nayak, Health Department Additional Chief Secretary Javed Akhtar, Backward Classes Department General Secretary Rashmi Mahesh, College Education Commissioner P. Pradeep, Social Welfare Department Commissioner Ravikumar Surapur, and Senior officials like the Commissioner of Backward Classes, Vasantha Kumar, participated in the meeting.
