Bengaluru: Congress leader and MLA, C.M. Ibrahim is almost certain about joining the JDS party. It is said that with his visit to the residence of the former Prime Minister H.D. Devegowda in Bengaluru’s Padmanabha Nagar, C.M. Ibrahim has conducted talks regarding his decision to join the party.
Former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy had previously met Ibrahim twice and invited him to the JDS party. C.M. Ibrahim had earlier accused the Congress of ignoring Muslims. There were rumours regarding his imminent union with the JDS.
Speculations are being made that C.M. Ibrahim will be appointed as the JDS President.
