Reportedly, three individuals have received a Covid-19 Inoculation Certificate in Surat, Gujarat, without receiving a dose of the vaccination. Anup Singh and his father, Harbhan Singh, 62, a resident of the Pandesara area, were registered at the city health centre in Bermoli on March 13 for the first dose of the vaccine. Although he did not go to the health centre on the date of vaccination, Anup Singh revealed that he had received the certificate stating otherwise.
In another place, two individuals from a family have received the certificate before getting the vaccine on March 13, CID sources said.
“According to our official document, these beneficiaries have not been vaccinated. But the certificates have been issued. We are trying to fix some technical bugs. We will discuss this with the IT department and resolve it,” Deputy Asst. Commissioner (Health) Dr. Ashish Nayak said.
