Bengaluru : Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister KS Eshwarappa said the party would not give ticket to the Muslim community in the by-election for the upcoming Belgaum Lok Sabha constituency.

“Belgaum is a hub of Hindutva, where we give tickets to the disciples of Sankaracharya, Rani Chennamma or Sangollirayanna and not to Muslims,” ​​he said.

He said that there would be a coordination committee meeting on December 4 and a state functionary meeting on December 5. Decision will be taken whether which Hindu candidate should be given the ticket.
