Shimoga: The Pejawara Vishva Prasanna Theertha Swamiji said, “There is an increase in the number of cases where Brahmin girls are marrying into other castes and this must be prevented.”
Speaking at a function, the Pejavar Matt’s Seer said, “Serious thinking needs to do regarding the daughters of Brahmin society who are marrying youth of other caste and religion. It is the necessity of present times to educate Brahmin girls on the culture. A matriarchy should be formed including the elders of the family to prevent such cases from occurring,” he suggested.

“We need to find a solution for this. We need to understand the reason behind the problem of the girls in the Brahmin society who are marrying men from other castes. The Brahmin community’s population is on the decline. There is a need to think about this”, he said.
